I am happy to provide you with samples or ideas for ceremonies.
However, In order to reserve a specific date for a ceremony – I require a deposit of 1/2 of the quoted fee. You will receive an e-mail confirmation, upon receipt. Please understand that I cannot write the ceremony for you until I have received this deposit.
If you are desiring a personalized/customized ceremony please allow at least 3 weeks for it to be written. Any supplies, equipment, decorations, etc. needed for a particular ceremony are the responsibility of the couple/family to provide. (for example unity candle lighting, sand ceremony, altar, etc.) Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Travel: I am more than willing to travel out of Knoxville for ceremonies. Any location within 50 miles of West Knoxville- round trip (which includes some of Maryville, Oak Ridge, Clinton, Lenoir City, and the remainder of Knoxville- East, North, and South) is considered local. Beyond the first 50 miles, the mileage fee is .30 per mile. Some areas also entail an additional travel fee due to extensive time to get to location. Townsend weddings are $30 and all other Smoky Mountain area weddings are $40 - $50.
Rehearsal: This is optional for most ceremonies (but recommended for the Custom Wedding Package). Many times couples just want to practice the timing of the processional / recessional and flow and may not require my attendance. However, often couples prefer me to be present for direction or a run thru of some of the more complex elements of the ceremony. There is an additional fee of $50 plus mileage ( if applicable) for the rehearsal. Rehearsals do not have to be at the wedding venue.
